Awareness
Where am I out of alignment? Deeper understanding of emotions, patterns, impact — and the distance between who I am and how I show up.

The alignment gap
the space where the work happens
Close the distance between who you are and how you show up.
Five practices for living and leading as yourself. Not a model to memorize — small, intentional choices you make again and again.

a practice, not a destination.

The ALIGN Practices were developed as I wrote my book, Unmasked Leadership: Why Playing It Safe Is Costing You More Than You Think, which explores the often-hidden cost of the masks we wear—not only to ourselves, but to the people around us and the organizations we serve. It examines the ways we compromise who we are to fit in, succeed, or feel accepted.
ALIGN takes those insights into action, offering five practical ways to close the distance between who we are and how we show up. Not through dramatic reinvention, but through small, intentional choices, made consistently over time, that change how we live, lead, and connect with others.
The 5% shift
One small, intentional action moves you closer to who you are. Repeated, it becomes meaningful change — and that’s the entire method.

The five practices
Not steps on a checklist. Most real moments ask for two or three at once.
Where am I out of alignment? Deeper understanding of emotions, patterns, impact — and the distance between who I am and how I show up.
What masks, stories, expectations, or old patterns am I carrying that no longer serve me?
How am I showing up with other people? Curiosity, presence, empathy, vulnerability, real connection.
What is my next 5% shift? Sustainable change comes through small intentional choices, not reinvention.
How do I keep practicing as I evolve? Reflect, choose, recalibrate, move forward with intention.
